Thats all for January

Well, I finished the last part of my ICT exam yesterday meaning they’re all over for january, no more horendous revision until aprilish… Now, I can get on with other stuff like my ICT coursework, product design final piece and pokemon diamond.

I’ve also bought some new pins off ebay so hopefully they will come soon.

Maths Exams

Whoops, forgot to post after the exams but Mechanics and Statistics both went well.

Product Design Exam

Well, thats the first exam out of the way… and that was only a resit. It was OK and I doubt I’ve severly failed or got an E again… maybe a C or a D but I can live with it.

Application dates

Well, after getting a nice email from Michelle at Yummy Jobs, I have found out that summer 09 applications should start going in about July 08. Mind you, I think I’m better leaving it until August so I can know for definate which university I have a place at, it could be a bit late, but I can live with that.

CV and Cover Letter for ICP

Well, now after a while on the WDWIP forum I have found out what the hell I have to send off. I need to send:

• Cover Letter – Basic note introducing yourself, which program you want to do, about uni course/work experience and why you would like to participate in the program. (If I do manage to get a job at Game or Gamestation, I hope that looks good for a merchandise post!)
• CV – Well, a CV is a CV… Isn’t it?

And that’s got to be sent off August/Septemberish. Shouldn’t be too hard and I will definately know where and what I will be doing.

Pokemon Fire Red – I beat the Elite Four!

Well after months of playing the game, Last night I, at last, beat the Elite Four… and Gary (that annoying moo!). For the geeks, I had a Arkanine, Pikachu, Blastoise, Fearow, Primeape and Raticate, all of them started as Level 60 and some are 61/62 now.

Now with that bit out of the way my quest to catch (or at least find) all 151 pokemon must begin mind you I already have (or had) 58 different pokemon and many of those still need to be evolved further.

My other quest is find a copy of Pokemon Pearl or Diamond for less than £25. The search continues!
